Learning Commons Layout and Usage

Picture

Student Use

All Students, with the exception of senior students on spare, require a note from their teacher to be in the Learning Commons during class time. Students are asked to present the note to the Learning Commons staff upon entering. Admission to the Learning Commons during class time is subject to the availability of computers and seating space.

Lunch Time Use

Grade 7 and 8 students can pick up a Learning Commons Lunch Pass from their homeroom teachers. Tuesdays are designated lunch pass days for grade 7 students and Thursdays are designated for grade 8 students.  Students MUST present the Lunch Pass to the Learning Commons staff in order to be admitted to the Learning Commons during lunch time.

High school students do not require a pass. Due to limited space, priority to use the Learning Commons space will be given to students who come to use it for educational purposes.
